Product Addendum · Version 1.0
Automation Forge File Toolkit Addendum
Effective August 14, 2026
This addendum is part of the Automation Forge Software EULA and applies specifically to Automation Forge File Toolkit, its native worker, Windows integrations, documentation, updates, and related components.
Data and backup responsibilities
File Toolkit assists with copying, comparison, verification, backup, recovery, synchronization, storage analysis, and encrypted storage. It is not a guarantee against data loss. You are responsible for maintaining an independent backup; reviewing source, destination, overwrite, retention, and exclusion choices; monitoring warnings, errors, skipped files, reports, and available storage; testing restores; protecting destination media and credentials; and complying with applicable laws, policies, contracts, and third-party rights.
Windows, filesystems, permissions, hardware, security software, locked files, network conditions, cloud placeholders, and third-party services can limit discovery, copying, metadata preservation, verification, snapshots, retention, and recovery. A completed job alone is not proof that an independent, recoverable backup exists.
Secure Vault
Secure Vault uses authenticated encryption, but no encryption system eliminates every risk. Automation Forge does not receive or retain the vault password through the software. A forgotten password or lost key may make encrypted data permanently unrecoverable. Protect credentials and test encrypted restores.
Local information and direct delivery
Customer files, paths, vault content, job data, copy telemetry, logs, indexes, and credentials remain on systems selected by the user and are not automatically uploaded. Errors are saved locally first. Direct diagnostics and suggestions require an activated license, show the redacted content and destination, and require confirmation.
Product-specific disclaimer
Automation Forge does not warrant that every file will be discovered, copied, verified, encrypted, decrypted, synchronized, backed up, restored, or recoverable, or that the software will be immune from defects, attacks, hardware failure, or third-party interference.
